obviously, this is the web10 blog.
we want the future of social media to be on web10, but when cool things / social platforms come out that are in the right direction, you have to give applause.
jack dorsey the former c.e.o. of twitter just put out a new social media platform called bluesky, and it is really cool.
- he wanted to create a 2000’s vibe.
- he wanted it to be censorship free.
- it feels right. like myspace + early facebook mashed together.
i hope it can sustain the good vibes, and when it gets taken over by corporations + ads, it doesn’t lose that 2000s feel.
my gut take, is that it is going to succumb to the money pressure, it is only a matter of time.
